How will I be refunded?

Payment Method

  • If you’ve lost the credit or debit card the refund is supposed to go back to you on, contact the card issuer for refund information.
  • In most cases your refund will automatically go back to the original form of payment used for the purchase. If you used multiple forms of payment, your refund may go back to all payment methods used.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method(s) in most circumstances.

Timing

  • Refunds to a store card typically take up to 2 days after we’ve approved the refund.
  • Refunds to a third-party credit card typically take up to 5 days after we’ve approved the refund. For information about refunds to a third-party credit card, contact your card issuer.
  • For items returned to our Online Return Center, we have to first inspect and process the return. Therefore, once the Online Return Center receives your return, it takes an average of 7-10 additional business days before we’ve approved your refund.
How do I return an item that was purchased from Ptaera.com?

Start a return online: On Ptaera.com you can begin to process your return or replacement.

  1. Locate your item order e-mail
  2. Send an email with the return option or fix an issue (get help with missing or damaged items, etc.) in the header
  3. *Follow prompts to complete your refund or replacement request, or to access your return barcode for in-store returns.
  4. Replacements are subject to availability and will process as an even exchange. You won’t receive additional charges. 
  5. Refunds are issued to the original payment method(s) in most circumstances.
  6. If mail in of return item is required: We’ll provide a free return mailing label and instructions by email and on your order details page.
  7. Include the original item, packaging, and any accessories. 
  8. We may issue your refund before we receive your returned item. If we inspect the item and it’s not eligible based on our return policy, we may charge your card for the refund we’ve already issued to you.
  9. Attach the return label to the outside of the package.
  10. Drop your package off at an authorized UPS location. Visit http://ups.com/dropoff to find a location.
Can I return or exchange an item without a receipt?

For your online purchases: Please refer to your delivery and shipping confirmation emails for your order.

If you don’t have the proof of purchase you may receive a refund in the form of a merchandise return card.

Can I return an item that I picked up locally?

You may replace or return the item by bringing the return item along with one of the below:  

A valid receipt

A return barcode

The payment credit or debit card used to purchase the item

How do I report an item missing from my order?
